Personalized Travel Itinerary

Company: eDreams ODIGEO
Role: UX/UI Designer 

Task: Design a mobile product experience that appeals to different types of travelers to increase the number of tour, activity, and attraction bookings by helping them find the ideal in-destination activities.

1. Empathize

User Research Goal:

  • What process travelers go through when booking activities.
  • How the experience can be personalized for each traveler.
  • What attributes of the activities are important for them when booking activities.

2. Define

Once the user needs were identified, an affinity map was created. This helped categorize the insights into three main areas: 

  • Trust + Communication
  • Features + Experiences 
  • Support

Then, the "How Might We" method opened up the ideation and brainstorming phase.

Iterate in the design process.

Using the Design Thinking mindset is an easy, user-centric way to identify pain points in a design and solve them through iteration before going to production.
