Collaborate
Company: Aticco
Industry: Coworking Space
Location: Barcelona
Create a 360 degree solution that facilitates and improves the communication within the Aticco community while integrating all pieces of the Aticco ecosystem. Shape the existing Aticco Hub and explore other solutions that can be connected to it, either in the digital or physical world.
Background
Aticco had an intranet platform called Aticco Hub. It was a non-responsive website with few capabilities and low traffic. Coworkers had to resort to multiple unrelated platforms to manage their communication, account, events, meetings, etc.
Insights
In conducting the research, there were three key personas that were identified; Aticco employees, Aticco coworkers and Non-Aticco coworkers. After interviewing (qualitative research) all three, as well as conducting surveys (quantitative research), there were five key needs that lead to five key solutions.
NEEDS
1. Central platform available anywhere
2. Actionable data on coworkers
3. Universal communication tools for productivity
4. Up to date information on coworkers' behavioral patterns
5. Personalized experience
SOLUTIONS
1. Mobile app: Coworkers / Desktop platform: Employees
2. Reporting
3. Light Flag Device
4. Digital Key
5. Customization
Digital Prototype
Through the design thinking process, a mobile app was created. Within it are the tools required for coworkers to manage all their building access by a digital key, communication, events, meetings, status, interaction with other coworkers and employees, account and more. Accompaning this is a web portal for employees to access reporting, analytics and management tools.
PHYSICAL PROTOTYPE
Aticco Flag Device is connected to the mobile and desktop app via bluetooth or USB and allows coworkers and employees see your availability while they are at the coworking space.
Design System
Creating a library of reusable components to help keep brand consistency throughout the design and give Aticco a digital identity.
